Cooking recipe: Fresh Apple Cake

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup of vegetable oil
- 2 cups of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla powder
- 3 cups of self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 3 cups of peeled, chopped apples (whatever kind you like best, I used Fuji)
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- TOPPING:
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
Mix the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl. Add flour a little at a time. Mix in cinnamon. Fold in apples and pecans. Pour into well-greased and floured bundt pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350F (180C).
Combine brown sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Pour hot glaze over hot cake.
Leave in pan for 2 hours, then carefully release onto a cake plate.
